Joining Rangers In-Service.
LJ wrote:Thanks for the reply Luna, and with all due your respect, i disagree with what you said.. Not only is unlogical, but would also be greedy of me taking a Code 40 slot from someone with a better chance.
Now i'm not saying i weight 250 pounds and that i can only do 12 pushups, but from what i hear RS isnt easy and i would like to be at my physical peak when applying..
If thats the only option, then i could take the time until a slot 40 opens up to punish my body to the max, but if its not, and there was a possibily of joining while in service, i'll take that instead because i want to enlist as soon as possible.
Not to mention that the only MEPS here is 2 hours away, so going there "everyday" is abit out of reach.
However, 1 of the recruiters did say he can enlist from the Local Office after I pass the Physical Exam at MEPS, not sure how true that is.
Respect????? Reread the FAQ's and next time when ever you address a Ranger, you call him (as in this case) Ranger Luna. We are not your buddies.excerpt of LJ wrote:Thanks for the reply Luna, and with all due your respect
To acknowledge this post you will push out 50 push ups and come back and post you did the 50pu's as requested.

50 more pu's with your feet elevated for failure to follow instructions. In your 1st paragraph whom are you talking too? Also, Ranger EAT III told you to elevate your feet? No where in your post do I read his request coupled with mine is completed.LJ wrote:Push ups done, I went ahead and did push ups for a whole hour, barely feel my arms while typing this.
I would also like to apologize to Ranger Luna and to all Rangers or non Ranger that i have disrespected with my above post, i truly didnt come here to stir things up and for that i apologize.
This is how your 1st paragraph should have begun:
Rangers, push ups done. I went ahead and did push ups for a whole hour,
barely feel my arms while typing this.
You should be able to do 50 pu in 2 minutes.
As a bare min. 6 pull ups are required in Airborne Training the way I remember it.
