So I guess I'm a freelance crash-test dummy now...

Post by Carpe Noctem »

Tonight I learned that when a Chevy Trailblazer hits me as I'm walking across the street, it throws me about ten feet. Furthermore, I bounce when I hit pavement.

Object lesson in situational awareness. I guess I'll be the dire warning rather than the shining example this day.

borebrush,

Well, I DID get right back up after my bounce/roll. Now, if I'd had the presence of mind, I should have gone over to the driver and screamed "don't you know who I am? I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!"

I think everyone was surprised I wasn't dead. I walk back into the bar bleeding like nothing happened, and they're staring at me like I've got a tit growing out of my head.

Did you have something quippy to say when you got up? Like:

"I'm looking for Angela Connor..."
That's some funny shit right there! :D

It'd be funnier if it was the right quote. :p

Jokes aside, I'm glad to hear that you're all right, man.

Ranger Wellfed,

Actually I didn't screech...but it was as close to a Charlie Brown "AUUUUUUUUGH!" as I've ever uttered.
