Introduction
Hi
My husband served in 2/75 (A Co and HHC) from 84-89 as well as in 3 ID LRS 89-92 and i Corps LRS 92-95. Then we came to Ft Polk where we have been since. He is now retired though. I have checked out this site a few times and thought it to be very nice..

First of all, I wish to apologize to Ranger msg_dman for failing to address him as Ranger in my previous post. Then secondly, I realized I made a grievous error in listing his assignment. He was in C Co not A Co as I stated.. I guess I was in too big of a hurry, trying to get my post submitted before the power went of again (it is storming here).
thanks
thanks
I have never heard living near Fort Polk and logical in the same sentence before!cookiebear49 wrote:MSG_Dman
yes we did.. He had a good job offer and I had a decent job and the kids liked their school and we certainly werent going back to CA where he is from and I am from ND which was a possiblity but not such a good job situation up there so it was logical.
Tell your old man to stop in and say hi sometime!
