greetings gentlemen...

just posting and saying hello... as per Vee. signed up last year, but just now got around to posting something... so...

I'm into Re-enacting and other military related hobbies, as well as the usual shooting, etc..

member of a group of guys that does a modern day re-enacting group based on the Regiment.

REcycled couple days after the kid from the 82nd took the fall off the slide for life. sprained ankle.

Was not dropping names, Vee said to come do this. I am sorry you guys don't approve of what our airsoft team is doing. I assure you it's not done with malice in any way... just profound admiration.

It's obdvious my presence is insulting to you all, so I will take my leave.

and BTW we have NO one on our team named Eric. A person signed up for our board posted once or twice and then went away.

Airsoft isn't the issue; it's your ILLEGAL MISUSE of authorised insignias. This is not something that relates to, say, civil war or WW2 reenactments.
Your wannabes & phonies are strutting about pretending to be serving Rangers & that does neither of us any good, aside from the fact that your group is breaking the law.
Wanna play Ranger but couldn't continue to in real life?
Then create a phony Ranger Batt and create your own 'rangerish' badges & don't usurp heraldry to which you have NO legal OR moral right to.
Honor us best by dropping the Ranger regiment insignias & designations when you dress up & play army.
Airsoft looks like it'd be a fun hobby, it's the pretensions of stealing the status others are earning & maintaining as we speak that is the problem.
Dressing up to look like us is NO tribute & is extremely disrespectful.
You've made a claim to being the 'real deal' on your site, did you know there's a real war on now, been on for years.
Reenlist & try for RIP/ROP & see if you really should be wearing a scroll.
And there's always the airplane gang you could return to, or isnt the AA high speed enough to wear around Massachusetts on weekends?

OK, OK...

after alot of PMs and whatnot I'm beat up enough... we will be changing the name of the unit. We were trying to do good and we got it wrong. I am man enough to say so... Please accept my appologies to the community as a whole and to anyone I individually insulted.

As for the current war, I have been over 3 already working PSD contracts and am home due to an injury. so, yes I am well aware of it all.

Again, sorry if this really pissed you all off this much. It was not done with malicious intent.

The site should be down by tommorow and under new construction. We will be editing posts about recruiting as well. please give us a day or two to do so..
