Only saw it a few weeks ago myself - good action with comedy moments.

Memoirs of a Geisha

Beautiful movie and a great story if you haven't read the book.

If you have, you might find one to many things missing.

I give it a "B"

I'm not going to read this entire thread to see if this one has been mentioned, but if you haven't seen Glory Road, it's a keeper. Damned good flick.

Ranger HT. Another movie by the director of Ultraviolet is called Equilibrium. It was released in 2000 I think, maybe 2001, it was just before the 2nd Matrix came out. The movie is just plain awesome. The gun fights in it are short and to the point, no shoot your weapon for 5 minutes with out reloading once and never hit the bad guy kinda movie. It's definately one worth checking out.

Other movies: I just saw King Kong. It was pretty good, good special effects: 9/10

Lord of War: liked it a lot. It was passed over as another shoot-em-up movie, but it was much better than just that type of movie: 9/10

Walk the Line: Fucking awesome. The sole fact that Jaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon do nearly all of their own singing makes it kick ass alone. 10/10

Syriana: Ehh, it was ok, but rather confusing. The director weaved like 4 or 5 different stories that were vaguely related together; it ended up being ... just ... confusing and boring. 5/10

Good Night and Good Luck: great movie. Definately recomend it to anyone. Clooney does an awesome job acting and directing. 9/10

Munich: It was really good. I think that it is definately woth going to the theater and seeing if you are only going to see one movie. I think that Spielberg did a fantastic job of building up the lead character while also telling the story of what happened ( to an extent ). 10/10
