Brooklyn & NY Veterans meds cut.

Post by Steadfast »

Many of my Veteran friends have had their medications cut for the last 6 months. Many veterans report that their sleep med's have been reduced in half from a 30 day supply to a 15 day supply (this is just 1 med I know has effected many). The med in particular is Ambien. Many are complaining that pain meds have been reduced as well or changed to a less effective medication.

I'd like to know if this is happening in your neck of the woods forcing veterans to do without medications. This is the beginning of the end for just treatment for veterans.

Some of my relatives have been cut back to like 20 days a month for daily medicines. I am not sure what kind of meds. Narcotics have been difficult for them to get for some time.
