I had heard about the food on the birds even before I went to RS. It is a tradition that has continued for at least 35 years. Thank God nobody ever wrote a story in Army Times or someone would have to do something about it.
Don't recall blueberry pancakes at all -- must be getting old. But then, I'm not sure what I had for breakfast this morning.
