I thought all 11 series MOS went to OSUT at Ft. Benning...

Weird :?
Most cases yes. I did have one 17 yr old 11B split option (goes to basic between jr and sr year and then AIT after grad) while I was on the trail at Ft Lost in the Woods.

I had a guy that got booted out of ROTC the day before he was supposed to graduate. He came to Ft. Jackson for basic .....I had to take him to get an MOS. ........He choose Infantry. I crushed that little bastard from then on.

As I am beginning to dislike the 88N careerfield for no real reason, it comes to mind that perhaps I should know what the Hell it is... Anyone feel like letting me in on this Mystic Careerfield I've never even heard of before. I'd be grateful.

I believe the proper MOS descriptor is "Colonic Infiltration Specialist".

I'm a leg, the only way guys got airborne in my unit was if they went and graduated Ranger school. Most of us didn't get a slot to air assualt either and it was even back when they had the course at Fort Ord too. We were light infantry and didn't get those courses, can't imagine why mech guys would need them either.

No brother, I don't know him. If I did, I'd have already shut him up. I just wasn't in the mood to play his game. Sometimes my sense of humor is lost on people - glad you aprreciated it!
