Pre-Ranger Courses

Post by Seabass1-4 »

I'm working at SOCEUR in Stuttgart Germany. There are several people here who wish to go to the bad place. I've got Regt.'s pre ranger contact info, now I'm looking for contact numbers for 1st ID and any other pre-ranger courses in Europe.

Anybody got some numbers? The standard Google crap didn't turn up much.

Thanks

I know the 173rd in Italy used to have an unoffical pre-ranger course for thier studs trying to go to Ranger School. Cant say they still have it because they are a little busy right now, but it's a good place to start.

We sent our guys to Germany and never mounted any type of PRC. We tested Pre-requisites but that was only to proof candidates prior to attending PRC in Germany.

Thanks for the input. I played DSN phone tag with the big red one for a while, and got what I was looking for.

I know for a fact they had one at camp robinson (or was it robison) near Shweinfurt GE. It was a join AF/Army PRC, but mostly army. Most of the guys were from an airborne unit in Italy, I believe it was 173. I am not sure when they are doing this again if at all. If they do it at the same time of year as last it should be in May.

Thanks,
I'm trying to square away this Major I work for. He's not as gay the rest of the officers at work.

I called 1st AD, they said some time in September, but I can't really think of anything to trade them for slots in their course.

I talked to REGT, they said it shouldn't be aproblem getting our folks into the course at Benning if it ever comes down to it.
