INTRODUCTION-2/20/2005
Hope all is well. My name is Josh, im 19 years old and I am currently in school. Im finishing up my first year here in Portland, Oregon at Concordia University. I have been in the process of deciding to enlisted in the Army these past months but I have the uncertainty of what MOS to choose. Along with many visits to the local recruiter, I have taken the asvab. My ultimate goal is to become a PJ in the Air Force but i have always looked up to and respected the Rangers and will become one. My father was an aviation mechanic in the air force and I also has had a great influence on me. One significant moment that has influenced me was when I lived in Bolivia last year and saw how much our special forces has helped their military. I ran upon this forum a couple months ago and have always liked to drop by and read your guys discussions. I hope to have all my questions answered and get all the help I can from everybody. Thanks a lot and wish ya all the best.

Yeah, I don't get it - How, if your ultimate goal is to be a PJ in the Air Farce, can you expect to be a Ranger? Do you expect to go to Ranger School from the AF? If so, and you succeded in that, it would make you Ranger qualified, but not necessarily a Ranger. Anyhow, I don't remember AF members kicking the door down to attend RS.Silverback wrote:Joining the Army to become a PJ is like ordering steak because you want to eat cake!

Didnt know you were a cook, Snafu however, I did know that Julieanne was and the comment was for her. And say what you want but Ive eaten more burnt shit, over salted, over sugared, overly fucked up chow via the backroom of Mess Hall experimentations. Wasnt that I didnt like it and eat it....I just know that these guys tend to apply their own version of HPFM to their cooking. (Hocus Pocus Fucking Magic) NO Cut Snafu...just an observation.SnafuRacer wrote:Words hurt, Sergeant Major!
