hopeful zoomie seeks ranger mentor

Post by avidwanderer »

I couldn't figure out how to move a post, so I copied it and reposted it to the proper forum. Sorry about the f-up Rangers.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Rangers, I would like to know if there is a Ranger on this board who would be willing to mentor a zoomie. I have already completed Pre-Ranger and should be able to get a Ranger slot after October (the new fiscal year is what will make this happen).

Strengths: Running, Rucking, pushups, and situps.

Weaknesses: Night Land Nav, I am in the air force--that means I am not an infantryman and am not as experienced as a joe going into this school. I had to learn everything about infantry that I could at pre-ranger on the run.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. Thanks Rangers!

To piggy back, I'm currently at Eglin AFB. Anyone on this forum be interested to have a sit down thats in this area (as I assume there would be that the 6th ranger trg bn is here.) It's worth a free meal.
