DEPpers - Sound off *As IF* you've got a pair~!
Time to play the game again so we can see who we have left on here. If you are on DEP, sound off with your ship date, MOS, and contract accoutrements, IE; Airborne only (RIP Beggar), or with all the trimmings (Option 40).
Also, if you have a contract for another service, sound off as well so we can have a source of amusement for the day.

Sounding off.....
Ship Date = Feb. 10
Airborne Date = June 1
Option 40, 11x
Also, to the other DEPers, it is pretty easy to become PFC (E-3) before you ship....... I just refered a friend (opt 40 leaves feb 10 as well), AND passed the PT test and had to learn ranks, major and minor land nav terrain features and some other little stuff like that.......

hmmmm, I wonder how many times I've said that already? I wonder how many times all the Rangers on this board have said that?Keal wrote:Ship Date= November 4 (19 days to go as of today)
MOS= 13 Foxtrot, Option 40
To anyone unsigned yet and looking for the Option 40, don't let them BS you at MEPS. If you've got great ASVAB score and passed the physical with a picket fence they WILL find you an option 40 if you fight for it. Watch the look on their face as you get up to leave!
Excellent advise Keal. Anyone that wants to go be a Ranger and is entering without an Option 40 contract doesn't get my sympathy. You've been told and told. It's your fault for getting something ya don't want.

Ship date: 10/29.
I have airborne in my contract but don't know the date off the top of my head. As for RIP, see this post.

11X Option 40
Ship: April 15
Airborne: August 9 (hey, 4 days after my 19th birthday)
It would appear I'm the only one here leaving during this time period... I guess everyone else either A) doesn't have a birthday in the summer so they could sign up while a senior or B) Have parents that actually trust them to make decisions, and signed their waiver...
