Click and Clack meets ArmyRanger.com (BS Truck Thread)

Post by avidwanderer »

Anyone on this board have some truck advice? I am thinking about buying a 2005 chevy colorado (crew cab 4x4, Vortex I-5 engine, 220hp). I was also thinking about the Dodge Dakota crew cab. On the chevy I will get a 3,500 dollar loyalty rebate (my dad owns a GMC), and on the Dodge I will get a 1,500 dolar rebate. I will also be able to get either truck tax-free. I was wondering if anyone out there owned one of these trucks or knew someone who has... Thanks in advance!

Hey fag. I mean that is great and all about you wanting to buy and American made truck and all. Personally I think you should buy and old rusty Toyota and shove it up your ass and everytime it hurts to take a shit you'll remember you posted a car question on a Ranger site. Seriously the Chevy Colorado's are overpriced.

I know I'll probably get burnt for this, but the Toyota Tacoma double-cab 4x4 trd is an awsome small truck, but a little pricey.

Now that I've suited up, let the flaming begin.

Since I drive a Jeep and have been very pleased with it (Chrysler product), I'd have to vote for the Dodge.

I drive an 04 Dodge Ram 2500 turbo diesal, 1990 toyota x-cab lifted, the wife has a chrysler 300 sedan, they all have their purpose. I have driven yotas for 25 yrs great truck! The dodge will tow anything and the chrysler is fast comfortable and good gas mileage.

I've got a '99 Dodge Dakota and a '91 Ford Ranger. They've both been great trucks, although the Dakota with a standard cab is a little short on leg room.
