ALL MEMBERS - Ranger Jim

Post by centermass »

It is with heavy heart that I make this posting. The news of this hit me like a ton of bricks earlier and it's only now I've been able to settle down enough to make this post.

Ranger Jim is not doing good right now and has been admitted to a hospital a couple of hours ago.

To all of our long time membership, we all know what a fixture Jim has become here on the board. He has always been there for anyone in need, unselfishly offered up his hospitality on many occasion and helped many of own. He has personally rendered assistance, whenever families of the fallen have been interred at Arlington, and so humbly represented all of us graveside, during the final honors.

DEPs, if you remember, when you arrived here on the board, he was one of the first to greet you at the door and bring you into the fold. He has always had a vested interest in your progress and success. The untold amount of current Rangers this applies to is unknown, but I can tell you this - it's not the numbers that matter, it's what's in his heart and his untiring efforts he has put forth that are.

So, I am asking all of you who reads this, to please make a post here, with your thoughts, prayers, well wishes, what have you, that he heals up, gets well and makes a full recovery.

I know he would very much appreciate all the well wishes we can gratefully supply.

Thank you all,

RLTW

Jim is still in ICU....nurses said it may be a couple more days before they move him to a private room. By the tone of his caretakers, sounds like he's in good hands and getting the VIP treatment. By all accounts, he's not out of the woods yet, but he is getting his strength back. I'll continue to keep you all posted.
