Rangers Supporting Rangers

Post by Ranger »

Rangers Supporting Rangers
Mission Statement

Rangers Supporting Rangers (RSR) is Suicide Prevention and Interdiction Network (SPIN) for Rangers Past and Present. It is centered on reconnecting and providing a support net within our Ranger Community.

22 Veterans commit suicide a day. 90% of those suicides are due to NO SUPPORT. They had no one around to see the red flags or the signs of something brewing in the back of their mind. Not one person interdicted, which when contact was made, suicide rates significantly declined.

As Rangers it is our Duty and Responsibility to police up our own, and let them know that no matter the struggle, they have a Ranger Buddy. This website is designed to keep our shot group tight, and prevent one of our fellow Rangers from being any of the 22 suicides a day.................

Guidelines to reporting:

Call 911 if the person is threatening/or attempting to inflict self harm or harm to others
File a report here or call/text 847-445-4663
Help locate family members, Rangers, and LEO based off your assessment
Keep RSR operations updated with any additional information you may get or receive

*We are not licensed medical professionals and do not provide mental health services. Everyone we encounter we do our best to prevent suicide and provide follow on care, mentorship, job placement, etc through a variety of partners we have teamed up with (some can be found under resources).*

Nope.

For some reason, it appears the site is down.

It is back up and running, since the response was so damn good as soon as we launched the website we had to do some additional work to ensure that it didnt crash.

We have had 25-30 activations on the site, but I have not seen any introductions.

I don't see a forum section to post an introduction.

Don't forget Gallant Few, another fine organization to help Rangers. Karl Monger is the Director.

You talking about armyranger.com or the "RSR" site?
