Hi All,

It's been a long time since i have posted on here. I just spent some time looking through my old posts from when i was in high school wanting to become a Ranger. A lot has happened since then.

I just want to give a shout out to all the batt boys that helped me along the way to becoming a Ranger! Especially Earthpig! Listening to y'all's advice helped me prepare for what was to come.

As some of you remember i made in through in the first class of 2005. I ended up doing three tours with 1st batt and got my Ranger tab in 07. I got out in 08 and am doing the civilian thing now.

Glad to see this place is still taking care of the wannabe's (or soon-to-be's)!

Haha yea, i'll stick around!

I got off active duty in 08 and moved back to WIsconsin to go to school. I ended up doing another 3.5 years in the reserves as a training NCO for a DS unit while in college. I double majored in accounting and finance, got a masters in accounting and i am now working as a CPA in a public accounting firm in North Carolina. I'm looking to move back to wisco again though.

It's been a ride transitioning to the civilian life. i'm still figuring it out. Definitely miss the brotherhood! The people i work with now are nothing like my Ranger brothers. Probably should have chose a different profession haha. Anyone living in NC? Wouldn't mind connect with some batt brothers.

Since i got off active duty, nothing has made me as happy as i was in batt.

To all of you wannabe's out there that end up making it to batt, relish the moments you are in there because once you leave it, you will never experience anything like it again!
