I love zombie movies. Pretty much the only "horror" flicks I watch. Mainly because they tend to be hilarious. A few of my favorites, looking for recommendations.
Army of Darkness
Shaun of the Dead

You didn't list Romero's movies though I assume that you have seen them. I love them all.

The Resident Evil movies are something I'd watch with no other alternative, but there's so much in them that is ripped off of other, better zombie movies that I'd rather just watch the originals.

Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" pretty much founded the genre, and it's still as good (IMO) as it was back in 1968. Considering it had (at the time) a no-name director, unknown actors, and a budget that wouldn't pay for a good used car, that alone makes it worthy of mention.
Lugosi's "White Zombie" is also worth a look. It's dated, but still interesting.
Romero is a fucking genius.

Hell yeah! Great song, I listen to it all the time. Johnny Cash is the man!
I do enjoy the part where the gun shop owner is blasting zombies in the crowd that look like celebrities.
and don't forget the 5 gallon propane cans that go off like a 500lb bomb.

I shot a propane tank with 12 ga OO buck just like in the movie and all it did was dent it a little. So much for outdoing my neighbor's Independence Day fireworks......

Have any of you played the Left 4 Dead games? I've only played the 2nd one but is a great zombie apocalypse simulator. The Evil Deads and Army of Darkness or some of my favorite movies. Bruce Campbell gets some of the greatest lines in movie history.

He is great on "Burn Notice" too.

That I have, I love it when the kids are riding in the car talking about his movies. The one kid says he liked "Bubba Ho-Tep" and the other kid is like fucking everyone liked "Bubba Ho-Tep". But it was a great movie, Ozzie Smith as JFK fucking priceless.
