Kid Rock was one of the first celebrities to do a USO tour for the current conflict. Back in June of 2003, a whole bunch of us from my old company drove from Fallujah to BIAP to see a USO show he headlined. He rocked and put on a good show. Also appearing with him was Gary Sinise, Jesse James, Rebecca Romjin-(Stamos), John Stamos, Leeann Tweeden and a bunch of sports stars I don't remember.GSXRanger wrote:I listened to the lyrics... catchy tune!
Glad to see him vocal in his support of our troops. I wanna catch one of his shows sometime.
Then again, I keep wanting to catch a F.E. show sometime too...
Think they can pull a USO tour???
Kid Rock, Jesse James and Gary Sinise have all stayed strong in their support of U.S. troops in spite of their turd contemporaries in Hollywood. Good on 'em.

At least you're not hunting down a Depeche Mode concert or something...GSXRanger wrote:I listened to the lyrics... catchy tune!

A bunch of us planned to go that concert, but our leadership told us the wrong time. Funny thing, they all made it to the concert.CatFish Driver wrote:Kid Rock was one of the first celebrities to do a USO tour for the current conflict. I cannot goto youtube now, for a while.............
If this is what I think it is, they showed it before the movie "Ironman" at the theater in Fayetteville. While I was home, my wife squirted another little one, I took my sons to see Ironman. I was surprised they played it. It was great, that dude ranks right up there with the "Motor City Madman" in my book!
