I’m outta here for now. While some of you brave young studs are fighting on behalf of civilization in some of the planet’s worst shitholes, and while others of you are thankless civilian contractors in the same cesspools, I too have an important mission to fulfill:

The RV is going in storage tomorrow, the Jeep is tricked out for a long expedition, and I intend spending the next two months fly fishing my way from Northern California to Northern Alberta, British Columbia, Alaska and back. Or hell, maybe I’ll fly fish my way from here to Alaska and then across northern Canada to the Maritimes and back. Or hell, maybe I’ll never come back. 8)

Keep your heads down and your powder dry, boys. God bless you for your unselfish resolve. We’ll win this struggle because we have to win this struggle. There is no meeting our latest antagonists halfway. I don’t know how to say this without sounding melodramatic, but the way Europe is crumbling, the fate of Western Civilization is falling more and more in your hands every day. That’s my two cents worth on that.

Anyway, I have a wi-fi card for the notebook and a map of North American hot spots, so I’ll check in on occasion. Over and out for now.
