Rangers and Soldiers of armyranger.com,
Before I ship out and begin my own path to the scroll next week, I would like to thank you all for everything that I have learned on this invaluable site. Here I have picked up uncountable bits of information, tips and tricks that will help me throughout my career. But the most important lessons that I have learned have been from reading your posts and observing the Ranger philosophy within them. Here are some of the top attributes that I have observed among many others.
I have learned to put no boundaries or limits on my physical and mental improvements, that constant advancement is key, and to do your best to better yourself every day.
I have learned that the most important strength is mental, give yourself no option out, think not of excuses but how to best deal with the situation at hand.
I have learned that you must always refuse and hate failure.
I have learned that you must always refuse to quit.
I have learned that possessing initiative is fundamental to achieving your goals.
You all deserve many thanks, far more than I have written, but I have also learned that actions are more powerful than words. I will show you how thankful I am with my success.
I promise you all that I will not fail; I will not waste what you have done for me. Thank you again. I will update my situation as often as possible.

Thanks for the Thanks... but,
Shut your suck hole and ruck up!!!
Keep your suck shut, and your ears open... speak LOUD when spoken to, but don't get cocky. Shoulder your share of the task to 100% of your ability, no matter WHAT it is. When you think you can't go one more step... look around you. Everyone there is sucking just as bad as you... draw strength from that, and come out on top.
Never quit... no matter what. Never quit. Look forward, and NEVER back.
Keep us posted!!!
And best of luck to you.

[quote="Old Grunt"]Some parting words from an old grunt:
Keep your head down and your muzzle up.
Always listen to your PSG. He’s right even when he’s wrong.
They’ll issue you all the rifles and rucksacks you need, but they only issue you two cheeks and one hole, take care of that.
The cool stuff that draws admiration from your buddies will also attract the attention of the guys on the other side of the wire.
There’s a reason they put the words “Front Towards Enemyâ€
