7 DECEMBER 1977

Post by B 2/75 »

7 DEC 77 was the 33rd anniversary of Pearl Harbor, and it was also the day that I joined the Army.

Today marks my 28th year in the Mean Green.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Starting to get a bit old...

Ah....

December, 1977....I was 17, and had the HOTTEST 16 year old girlfriend....I met her when I was 16, and she was still 14.....she turned 15 a couple of weeks later, so it was not too weird. By the time that she was 16, we were doing the deed.

In 1977 I was a junior in high school, and all that I thought about was tapping that fine young thing. I still think about her, decades later.

Sorry about that. Congrats, Czar, you old bastard.

December, 1977, I was 7 years home from RVN laying on the couch, home from work listening to Pink Floyd's new Animal Album . A co-worker friend of mine whose name was Beck, was a survivor of Pearl Harbor. He was one of the most energetic, friendliest men I ever knew. Always trying to help someone out to give them the smallest kindness seemed his goal in life. He was one whirlwind of life. I can still picture him now with that big smile on his face. He is with his shipmates now as they all smile down upon us/youse as you carry on their tradition of love of Unit, God & Country.

7 Dceember 1977. I was in IOAC at Benning Schools for Boys. Of the class of around 200 students, think only 12 of us had CIBs. Only four years after the last U.S. troop units left Viet-Nam.

ma91c1an, I prefer your memory.

DEC 77: My dad returned from three years of Vietnam nine years ago. He was probably banging my mom, working on producing me, which would happen 4 months later.

7Dec77

I was 6 years and almost 6 months old. So I was about half way through the 2nd grade. My teacher was a woman the size of Fat Bastard.

I volunteer with teens and they call me old. Now I have realized the truth... I'm not old.
