Commissioning
I was going to keep this relatively quiet and just advise people via PM's but the information has been posted on other sites so I felt it would be appropriate to report at this time.
On December 2, 2005 I recieved notification that I passed Senate Confirmation. Through the AMEDD Direct Commissioning process I have been selected to be a 2nd Lt. I will be a 70b Healthcare Administrator with a medical detachment out of Denver. I will be sworn in on December 10, 2005 at 1100.
If anyone happens to be in the area I would be honored to have you attend the ceremony. Please PM and I will provide the pertinent information.
Thanks to all on this site and Happy Holidays.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.

Amen, not that I am the one bit religous, just my choice, I have tons of respect for those who are. But 100% on the mark on bettering yourself and bringing some well experience to the officer corps. Remember to uphold the standards taught to you and never forget who you serve, your men.Abell9 wrote:This is a lesson for deps, Rangers, ect.....good soldiers are needed in the Officers ranks...(ask Goog) and it does me proud to see a warrior take the step.
