All it took was the gunshot fired outside his Walker County home to trigger training ingrained in former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, the lone survivor of a dramatic battle in Afghanistan in 2005.
He did a sweep through the house. Checked on his mother. And bolted out the door, where he found dead his beloved Labrador retriever, Dasy, a dog given to him to help him recover from his own wounds and the loss of his fellow Navy comrades.

Shit bags. I wonder how this would have played out in court had he shot them. You have to figure public sympathy in Walker County would be on his side. A SEAL,a Lone Survivor who obviously suffers from PTSD and a the most poplular dog in the US, a Lab. Against some scum real tough guys who shot the dog but ran from the SEAL.

I can't remember the last time I was in the Mosh Pit. Guess the Houston Chronicle is about a day late on the story.Silverback wrote:http://forum.armyranger.com/viewtopic.p ... ll#p588447
