As I've said elsewhere, a lot of the animosity towards Kennedy centers on the Bay Of Pigs. Many high ranking CIA officers had close friends who died there. Sam Giancana lost millions of dollars in hotels and casinos in Havana when Kennedy failed to back the CIA lead invasion at the Bay of Pigs. It was Sam's close friend and business associate, Jack Ruby, who silenced Lee Harvey Oswald. Lyndon Johnson hated Kennedy's guts and wanted the Presidency so bad he could taste it. The KGB also hated Kennedy.

Don't think of Kennedy's assassination as being pulled off by one group or another. Think more of like minded people acting in concert or turning a knowing eye the other way. I don't think any GROUP had Kennedy offed. I think several individuals, powerful in their own organizations were involved.
