Rangers, I have completed the task at hand. Completed the 12 miles in 2 hours and 21 minutes. Good enough for a 1st place.
I don't want to settle for being just another medic. I strive for and want to earn the title 'Doc'.

Rangers, my Platoon Sergeant told me yesterday that Airborne School could be an option while I'm here in Korea. Things keep looking up for me. But as of now, I'm focusing on the 25 meter target, namely being the EFMB.

Rangers, only a few days left until I head to the EFMB course. I am extremely confident in my abilities. It will be a giant task, but I feel I am ready and will succeed.

All skill level one tasks. Nothing hard about it because they will give you time to practice everything. If your roadmarch course is uphill/downhill, your best bet is to run on the down-hill portions. The land nav is easy as shit.

If they let you do this in AIT, everyone would have one.

Still, better to get it out of the way. Good luck with it.

What he says is correct. The good news is once you have earned it, you won't have to do it again. Rather, you will be training or testing others.

Rangers, the course is going well. We are finishing up train up week tomorrow and begin testing on Sunday. If I can get my land navigation perfected tomorrow, I have full faith that I will earn the badge. Staying motivated!

Rangers, CTL 1 jumped up and bit me big time. The little things were what got me. I'm disappointed that I didn't earn the badge this go around, but it was a great learning experience. Now I know what to be expecting for the next attempt. Still motivated as ever, though!
