Sitrep

Post by grj5001 »

Rangers,

Completed week 2 and finished cole range for RIP. Just staying on track to graduate. My class is the last RIP class until is switches over to the RASP program. Now it is 8 weeks long but guys who go through it will be much more prepared to operate in the Regiment. I still have a history test to complete and then it should be all down hill from there. My expected grad date is Nov. 20th so I am keeping strong and can't wait till I graduate.

Great Job Greg! Keep up the goodwork and never quit.

Also, I don't know if you have met him but inter06 is in the same class with you. Somehow after listening to nothing I said and enlisting straight leg medic, he managed to manuver his way through the system and end up in RIP.

Rangers,

Just a quick update. I passed the 5 miler and the History test and met up with the other guys that are on the website and in my RIP class. It is cool that Inter06 is in the class with me. He is a good dude. All I have to go now is the 12 miler. I get my battalion assignment on Tuesday and I am hoping for 1st but we will see. Just keeping my head on straight and looking forward to Friday.

Great stuff Greg! I had a SGM friend of mine check in on you guys and he said you were both being quiet professionals almost like the "grey men", the cadre said both of you had your heads down and were moving out smartly!

I heard Kyle had a re-test yesterday, any idea if he passed?

12 little miles stud, ruck up and move out.

Rangers,

inter06 and myself are all ready to graduate. inter06 passed his retest and we both completed the ruck with no problem. We both are a little sore but it feels great. Since he is a medic he will stay at the ROC for awhile but I am headed to Savannah. It feels good to go exactly where I wanted to end up. I move over there sometime next week, inprocess and then report. I am excited to finally start my career, it has been worth it all thats for sure. Graduation is this Friday and the 4 week RIP era has come to a close with my class. It will be interesting to see what happens with the new RASP classes.

I just wanted to thank everyone from this site and especially Ranger Jurena the wealth of knowledge on here is priceless and it helped me out quite a bit. But now the real work begins and I am excited to get started.

Fucking A! That's awesome and a 1/75 Hooah to boot. You two Rangers circle up and give me a call when you get a chance so I can congratulate you! Ranger inter06 has my number in his phone, he called sniveling from every leg post in America on his journey.
