It begins.

Post by someguy »

I started my journey on this website and I ended up in the Q-Course. After 20 months of dedication, hard work, and blatant sucking I've completed it. I was rained on, I was snowed on, I was wet, I was tired, I was hungry... and for some reason it brought me happiness. I am now ready to do my job. I would like to specifically thank Ranger Dafid Ranger for mentoring me through the process and everyone else who contributes to this website. Thank you all and I will be around...

Ranger Jim,
Initially the site helped answer questions about the enlistment process and OSUT. Questions that my recruiter would not answer as well as general guidance in going about things. I was able to form a work out routine based on those given here that actually enabled me to make progress. I was motivated by the fact that I could post my numbers on here; each time I came back to report I wanted to legitimately post a higher score - not some made up bullshit to impress others. Speaking to the members on here helped me develop a good COA based on their experience and allowed me to make the right decisions that I've made thus far.

Most importantly I gathered a lot of motivation from the demeanor of contributing members. The no bullshit attitude. The try till you die mentality. Never quit. And lastly the professionalism. It made me want to succeed. I did not want to come back on here and tell you all that I've failed. I thank you all for that.
