Rangers:
Graduated airborne today. I was an honor grad. I got a challenge coin and a Major General pinned my wings on. I didn't know there was such thing as honor graduates at airborne.
I'm prepared for RIP. I've been staying in shape by hitting the gym, running the airborne track, and staying metally tough and motiviated. Since it's Labor Day weekend, we ship out Wednesday morning at 0930. We do not yet know if we are going straight to RIP or being put in hold. A RIP cadre previously came to breif us and mentioned he was going to attempt to get all of us into this cycle, it starts the 4th.
Crossing my fingers!

Great news, little brother. I expected nothing less. You seemed to have a good head on your shoulders, and it looks like you're using it correctly.
The easy stuff is now behind you. Make the challenge that lies ahead be just another stepping stone. Guys are going to start quitting 10 minutes after you hit RIP. Everytime another guy drops out, let his failure stoke your own motivational fire. That's one less dickweed to clog up the runs in the morning. That's just more fresh air for you to breath. That's one less dumbass to get the whole group smoked.
Every one of us went through what you will soon face. Every one of us did it. You can make it, too. Keep up the excellent work. I look forward to more SITREPs.
Remember, they only give that Tan Beret to the very best. It's not a hand-out. Now go earn that sucker!
