Subject: Field update
Ranger Invictus,

Just a quick update from the field as I have limited time for internet access. I'm currently in the infirmory because I have Mono as well as half my platoon's bay. I find out tomorrow what happens (30 day leave or staying) and will hopefully be ok.

I likely won't be able to check this board again for some time so if you can, please reply via snail mail and I'll keep writing once I receive you address.

Mono??? The Kissing disease???

Pray tell, how does one contract such a disease in basic training?

The only thing worse in open bay barracks is scabies. You can't kill either one of them. If half his plt is down, they most likely won't get con lv...

I got fucking mono right after I got out of the hospital from my first shoulder surgery. Contracted it at Madigan. Which says volumes about their sanitary habits.
