Take the time to heal. Injuries will get you recycled or out of the Ranger course in a heartbeat (How well I know -- did the mountains twice because of a pinched nerve in my right arm). Never, never quit!!!

I had a confirmed hip fracture the bone scan also showed a stress fracture in my left shin and my right foot as well as probably an old fracture in my butterfly bone in my hip region.

It's healing well however I did have a lot of residual pain in my hip area once I started walking more but it turned out to just be a pinched nerve so I just do my stretches everyday and I'm pretty much pain free.
My physical therapist said as long as I don't over do it to soon I should heal up fine, they only allow me to run half a mile every other day presently but I still go to the gym and work my upper body every day.

Currently working in the S3 shop at 2/19 on the hill, they're about to start EIB and I really wanted to do it but I can't ruck at the moment...

Anyway hopefully in a few months they'll let me start rucking again and running more. Right now just working on staying motivated and staying in shape.
If any of you were at that EST demonstration a few days ago I was one of the demonstrators, I was nervous as fuck being around some actual Rangers from batt in person......
this is going to be your hardest task. you got the right attitude, keep it. take the time to learn everything you can academically. stay fresh on your newly learned skills. work land nav on a map.

So Trep, what's your present status? Did you ever complete Airborne Training? Back in Nov you said you were in Airborne hold before all your medical problems arose. Glad you're back to health.
