Sitrep Malarkey

Post by Runner »

This is all bullshit. I'm dropping my Ranger contract.

Just kidding. I got my blue cord today. I'm motivated as hell to get on with Airborne and Ranger. My PT score's around 270-275. Room for improvement, but I'm confident I can get it up to a 300 in time.

I can't tell you how happy I am to have my blue cord.

To all you DEPs, just do it. It's not hard, it just sucks sometimes when you're bored out of your mind.

Sorry I never wrote. I didn't send many letters out to begin with, even to my own family, much to their dismay.

Well I graduate tomorrow, check in at Airborne, then pick up on Tuesday if all goes as planned, no holdovers. I will keep you all updated now that I have access to the real world.

Drivin' on,
Malarkey.

Congratulations Malarkey. I know what some people have told you, but it's all downhill after you get that blue cord on your uniform.

Keep Drivin' On.

I think this is a bunch of Malarkey. If I was you, I wouldn't even have this thought in your head or joke about this. Be carefull what you wish for. Good luck to you. The road ahead of you is tough.

Yea...that was the toughest part. RIP and Ranger School got nothing on that Blue Cord. Worst time in Ranger School is when the RI's throw the TV remote away and you have to change your own channels...man, THAT sucked.

I'll be seeing you at Benning my little red-headed friend.

Congrats on Turning Blue, hopefully you won't get stuck in Hold for too long at Airborne.
