Roger, Ranger Jim.

We got back from Cole Range yesterday. It was pretty much everything I thought it was going to be. It was a good experience. The key is just to remember why you are here. My advice to guys going through is just to not quit and to try to be the best. Be the first back from the woodline, the first with your ruck packed, and most importantly the first to help your buddy's around you. You have to care more about the guy next to you than you care about yourself believe it or not if you do that you won't even realize the pain your in. I'm looking forward to the weeks ahead and will keep everyone updated.

Cole Range is this week and I'm as prepared as I can be. So far what I can say is to always expect the worst and prepare for every outcome. Take it each day at a time but be prepared for the days to come. I will post another update next week.
Look forward to your next SITREP. Never, never quit!

Roger, Ranger Affirm. I will let you know as soon as we find out our battalions. Ranger Jim, I think there are about 2 others from the site here I am not aware of more. Training is going very well and I am improving a lot in all aspects. They give you the tools to do so but it's all on you to take what they give you and improve yourself. As always don't be a shit bag because once you are labeled you will not be forgotten by the Cadre or your fellow class members. Also, push yourself on ALL events whether they are critical or not. RASP is a selection course. If you just make the cut on times and standards and never surpass them what reason do they have to select you.

Roger, Ranger Jim. I will talk to them and tell them to post a sitrep. Week 6 starts tomorrow and it should go by pretty quickly. I'm looking forward to the training for this week I have no doubt it will be one of the best yet. We have no critical events this week which will be somewhat relaxing. Finished the 12 mile last week and was happy with my time but there is always a lot of room to improve which I will. It is an amazing feeling to know I am this far in the course and I intend to continue on and finish it.

Roger, Ranger Jim. I apologize that it has been so long since I have posted. I graduated yesterday with RASP Class 05-15 and will be going to 1/75. I am ready to keep progressing and show that I am an asset. I know there is a lot to learn and it will not be easy in the slightest but I will work hard, pt hard, and study my ass off.

When you get assigned to a platoon, post a SITREP so that we can process you as a Ranger! "Ranger Josh" has a nice ring to it.
