Yggr, my son is in class with you. He said he managed to walk most of the ruck yesterday. I guess this past week went pretty quick. How were your PT scores?

My pt scores were pretty horrible for this last one.
44 pushups
54 situps
15:20 2 mile
11 pullups

I sent you a pm
What happened here? Why such low scores at this stage?

I replied.

Now it has been 30 some years since I last did a PT test. Yeah pushups were always the hardest event but I have to ask. Are the Cadre at RASP just tougher on counting legal pushups? I used to could knock out quite many pushups but I am wondering would they have been up to Ranger quality?

I got very sick after Cole Range and that knocked me back quite a bit. I chose not to go to sick call because so many people were getting dropped after going there. I'm able to breathe a lot better now and my strength is back.

ncgater,

The cadre have been very fair graders from what I've seen. All of my reps were counted.
Understood. Keep fighting then, you've got some extra work to do now to make it up. Never quit.

Yggr,

KS finished the 5-mile right about the same time as you. How did you like the 6-mile ruck run? Or maybe since you did breeching last week you did not have that fun. Something to look forward to. Are you ready for your PT test? Tuesday right? You been working those pushups?

Yggr,

What say you? How did the PT test go? Did you enjoy RPAT today?

Pushups? Work them today and tomorrow but rest on Sunday. I would like to meet you at graduation next Friday. Others may disagree but a day of rest before a test always helped me. I am pulling for you, Yggr.

I share your concern, Ncgater. Hang in there, Yggr, you earned this slot. Never, never quit!
