Breaks in the Ranger Creed
Hello Rangers,
I was hearing from my buddy currently in RIP that the Ranger Creed is not straight through, that there are breaks in between the stanzas. If anyone knows where the breaks are I would greatly appreciate the help! I tried searching for it but came up with nada.
Thanks Rangers!

There are no standard breaks when reciting as a group but normally it goes something like this:GarageSaleUSA wrote:Hello Rangers,

Re: Breaks in the Ranger Creed
I wasn't taught the breaks in that way... I guess they dumbed it down because the version I know for a group has more breaks.

Thank God for this IntraWeb stuff!!!!!
Back in the day, a long time ago, before hand held GPS, Cell Phones, and all, we actually had to show the hell up and find out neat little things like "Breaks in the Creed...."
Really...... who would REALLY concern themselves with THAT....??????
(BTW stud, Ranger Silverback is screwing with you a little....the end of the first stanza is not "Ranger Regiment" it's "Ranger Battallion". (RIP instructors and RI's just HATE when you refer to the Regiment as a whole big group....)

Re: Breaks in the Ranger Creed
"Their" never said a thing. I suggest that you look up the meanings of these two words: THEIR and THERE.GarageSaleUSA wrote:But apparently "their" saying its a big deal
Next, spell out the contraction "THEY'RE" and define that as well.
Then, if your (not "you're") research so indicates, revise your original sentence so that you don't ("do not") look so ignorant.
As you know, clear and concise communication is critical to our profession.
Since I'm ("I am") on a roll (not a "role"), consider also these three words:
Cite
Sight
Site
As to your (not "you're") original post; memorize the Creed now. It will make your life a lot easier.

Re: Breaks in the Ranger Creed
well .'s post is actually a contraction of "who is this "They" of which you speak?"
they in this case being a single group of pronoun people. thus, the singular verb use.
