Hello Rangers, I have narrowed my MOS choices to 13F and 11B. I believe FO is my MOS of choice based on the job description, but from everything I've been told, descriptions can be deceiving. The reasons I want the 13F MOS is because I feel that the AIT would better prepare me for RASP as far as land nav and rucking goes, and there is something appealing about calling for fire to me (I had also been interested in being a TACP) My concerns are that as a 13F, I will be left out of some of the fun stuff an 11B would be doing, like training with foreign forces or having more opportunities for schools. Would this be a problem?
Thanks to all for taking the time to read this,
Cale

I hadn't seen this thread, Ranger Jim. I also apologize for the late post, I've been helping my sister move these last few days.Jim wrote:Have you seen this thread?

My self-administered APFT:
50 push-ups in 2 mins
73 sit-ups in 2 mins
14:41 2 mile run
I'm also in the process of losing weight as I'm 10 lbs over the 200 lbs limit for my height. My goal weight at this point is 185-190.

OK, so now you have established a PT baseline to build on. Please add pull-ups to your workout. Never, never quit!
