Yes, you can go back and attempt to reno and add option 40 to your contract.

Congrats on your contract.

Rangers, I do apologize for posting outside my own topic, but I figured that slitherboy would like to see this as well.
I am aware that I have to go back to MEPS in the Autumn, but when exactly would be the ideal time to go? I know that the Military Fiscal Year starts on October 1st and ends on September 30th, so would it be best to go as early October as possible?
