The only thing I can tell you is to get an ATTRS slot. Don't try to walk on.

Ranger RRDTm3,

I was not among those turned back. No one in those turned back were even from my IOBC company, D Co. No one from D Co went out there.

From my understanding the numbers were as follows from IOBC

+120 went out
-50 got turned back
-7 failed the PT test
--------
63 got to stay

So A Co has 57 LTs wanting the March class
and D Co has well over 70 who meet the PT standards from the LTO which are 70 PU 70 SU 2 mile in under 14:30 and 5 mile formation run in 40 minutes
The only thing I can tell you is to get an ATTRS slot. Don't try to walk on.
The tricky thing is the LTO office treats ATTRS slots as place holders. I have one for the March class but that does not mean it is mine. There are tabbed guys who hold slots for the March class right now from my IOBC company. I could have an ATTRS slot and not be allowed to go out there because dudes from other companies in IOBC have priority.

The hand dealt was less than ideal but fuck it, I'll get there one way or another. The learning point for me is that the Army requires someone to find a different way when the normal one seems fubared.

Start PRC 18 Feb 06
Start RS 5 Mar 06

IOBC LTO is sending 15 through PRC and then on to RS. Completion of PRC bumps us to the top of the Order of Merit List and we will be inserted in the March class. I hope this comes together this time.
