1000 pushup club

Standard: 1000 pushups in 4 hours. (An "awe my pussy hurts 6 hour 1k-pu" may be implemented if you guys are suckin'.)

Reward: You're in the fucking 1000 pushup club. An elite group lead by, well me mother fuckers. We won't have meetings, you won't have to give up any money or time, but you're name will get posted and seen here for as long as you shitbags can keep it going.

I did 1225 pushups in the given amount of time, and that was taking it easy. I expect one of you turds to beat me, and this is on your honor. So this is a good way to start living the Ranger Creed and the 19 standing orders.

doozer you depstick if your elbow is fucked layoff it. do other shit till it heals. i dont know how long till you go active but if you dont heal up now and its fucked when you go in you could possibly kiss your ranger contract goodby. Tomorrow I'm going to the gym at 11:30 to do 500 in an hour. All my colleagues here in the office are making bets about whether or not I can do it. I've got money on myself. The total betting pool is about $300 at this point.

The rules are I can spread 'em out anyway I like - 10 a minute, 20 every 2 mins, whatever. I don't think it's gonna be a problem, but I will admit I've never done this many before in this time frame. My personal best at this point is 3 sets of 2 mins at 80-76-53 reps (all reps performed within about 10 mins of each other). But I've never done push-up enduro before, so I'll post results tomorrow afternoon.

One of these weekends when I've got 4 hours to chalk off I'll see what my total is during that time frame.

That's only 8.3333 a minute required to get 500. Any more suckers lining up for that bet? Let me know.

Heck, if you do 20 a minute for every 30 minutes, which should be cake, you'd do 600. See if you can get those suckers to agree to pay $0.25 for every pushup over 500 and that you would pay them $0.50 for every pushup under 500.
