Veterans ID card - Clarification

Post by Caruthers »

A while back we sent out an email regarding the new Veterans ID card; since then we’ve had some success and some failure with Veterans getting or not getting their ID cards.

Clarification: There are a few eligibility requirements to be able to obtain a Veterans ID card; essentially you have to “qualify” for VA benefits to receive the . The link below explains this in more detail and it also allows you to apply online to see whether or not you would be eligible.

Many Veterans do not realize that they may be eligible; it’s important to remember and document everything (or be able to explain to a VA Doctor) everything that you experienced while serving in the military that may have caused any type (small or big) mental or physical ailment.

Go to: http://www.va.gov/healthbenefits/apply/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sorry for the confusion; I hope this clarifies the eligibility and ID card requirements.

Thank you again,
