Here is more about myself,

I've grown up in Connecticut all of my life and I am a high school senior. I've ran on the Cross Country team for the past three years, and I was the Captain of the team this year. I grew up around being outdoors and doing other outdoor activities like: Shooting, fishing, and many others. I've always wanted to join the Military for as long as I can remember. I was deciding between Army and Air Force, but after research I found out that the Army was the way to go. So on my 17th birthday, I went to my local recruiting office and got started on the enlistment process. About a month later I enlisted into the army with a 11x contract with an option 40. I chose this job because I want to be with people who truly want to be in Ranger Battalion and give more than 100% everyday. After looking on the internet to find out more information to answer my questions, I found this website and it is by far the best website I have ever seen to answer all of the questions that I may have. Joining the 75th Ranger Regiment is a major goal I have and I want to be as successful as possible in completing that goal, and to become a member of Americas premier special operations force.

Pat - check in with Charlie on this site. He just showed up recently as well. You guys will be a week apart on ship dates but you will most likely end up in the same Jump School or RASP class. Find like minded people and push eachother!

Ranger Jim,

I have been very busy with school, since my midterm tests are coming up and my teachers are trying to cram in as much work as possible before the first half is over. So essays and lots of other work plus going to the gym and future soldier training have been taking up a lot of my time. School for me is almost half way done which is shocking for me. It feels like I enlisted and started school yesterday but time is flying by and I'm starting to realize that much more now. I've been slow on working on my task list, but I'm getting more free time now so I will be on the website and updating my task list more regularly. Overall I'm very grateful I found this website since it has so much great information on it that I couldn't find anywhere else. I feel the task list and the information on the website will give me a Huge advantage over the other people at RASP who did not have this information. I still have a good amount of time before I ship, but I will be using it to prepare as best I can for what is ahead of me.
