Hello Rangers,

My name is Lyndon, I am 18 years old and a senior right outside of West Point. I am 5'11 at 159 lbs. I am already enlisted in the U.S. Army as an 11x Option 40. I ship out on July 25th to OSUT.

All my life I've been surrounded by the Army, my dad was a 13B until 2006, in which years later my mom joined as a 66B. I have lived on Fort Carson, Fort Sam, Fort Riley and right outside Bethesda hospital. And by being practically raised by the Army, it has made me want to continue a life long career in it.

Becoming a ranger is an important goal of mine and I will do anything to make it happen. I will embrace the suck, never quit and put my whole heart into making my dream come true.

As of right now I am unable to do a complete APFT and I will be able to put my scores up Saturday, but I do know for fact that I really need to work on it. As for the push up thread Ranger Silverback made, I am unable to access the charts and I was wondering if there is anywhere else to find them.

Hey Lyndon. Nice work on securing an Opt 40. Sometimes getting the chance is the hardest part for people.

Can you message me the link to the post you are talking about please? That way I can see if the chart is missing/broken/or just old and vanished into the darkness of the internet...

Just wanted to put my PT scores up even though they aren't too good and I need a lot of improvement but I have confidence in myself and won't let anything get in my way.

Push Ups: 51
Sit Ups:70
2 Mile: 16:14
I wasn't able to do the pull up portion today but I can definitely do it tomorrow. Thanks Rangers. Ranger Jim I'm working on my task list right now!
