Ranger Jim, I just called the recruiting office today. They said they've been checking every day for the 68W OPT 40 contract and nothing has come up yet. I'm just going to continue to wait and pt.

Roger Ranger Jim, understood. I will be patient. I just started running again. I stopped running track because I was having symptoms of a stress fracture(localized pain in bottom inner part of a single leg) after running another week of track on top of the Achilles tendon pain. I thought I would be shipping off in June/July(If I can get the contract I still might) and I didn't want to risk getting injured before I even started basic. I ran about 2 miles Saturday and this morning. I'm trying not to take my mileage up too quickly to avoid getting re-injured. I will post the results of a self-administered PT test including the 2 mile and pull ups this Saturday.

I had just turned 18 in RASP/RIP... I hurt constantly. They are called growing pains. Doctors call them whatever the fuck else. I took 1 day off to address it and regretted it. Don't ignore your body but sometimes it lies to you.

PT Results 11 March 2017:
Push Ups:59
Sit Ups:82
2 Mile Run:14:03
Pull Ups:12

The most senior recruiter in the office(E-7) texted me on Tuesday saying he was making some favor calls to work on the 68W OPT 40. I called a few times later in the week and he said he hasn't heard back from the person working on it yet.
