Rangers,

It has been a while since a last posted. Since then, I have joined a cross fit gym and have been going every morning from 5:30-6:30AM before school. Last week I started going to workout with my recruiter before school, and cross fit in the afternoon. Yesterday we ran 5 miles in 45 minutes. I have a lot more to work on with running, and rucking as well but I have a comfortable amount of time to work my ass of and improve my pt in all aspects.

Ranger Steadfast,
My apologies to both you and Ranger Jim. I failed to respond to Ranger Jim due to lack of attention to detail,it won't happen again.

Ranger Jim, My wrist has healed up since the accident, and is back to 100%. I learned a very important lesson from being a foolish teenager and looking at my cellphone while driving, which led me to crash into a fire hydrant. I have been continuing my PT and working out with my recruiter. My brother and I have started the paperwork for the army, and handed the packets in. The only thing left is, medical records for a fractured bone in my leg from last fall. As soon as that is done, I will continue on with the enlistment process. My brother and I are also planning on doing the buddy program together so we'd be able to look after each other and keep motivating one another when the going gets tough. I will also be a lot more active on this website now and post updates as to where I'm at. Again I apologize for my lack of attention to detail and it won't happen again.

The lesson here is the importance of attention to detail. As you mature, you will come to appreciate it more. Never, never quit!

Rangers,

Tomorrow morning before school, my recruiter is giving both my brother and I a PT test. It will include a 5 mile run, 2 minutes of push-ups and sit-ups, and pull-ups. I will post my scores as soon as I can.

Rangers,

This morning I completed my PT test with my recruiter.

Push-ups: 48
Sit-ups: 52
Pull-ups: 8
5 mile: 43:26

My PT Scores are absolutely unacceptable, and I am going to be working my ass off everyday to boost them. I will not let you Rangers down. From now on you will see nothing but improvement from me.

Ranger Jim,
I don't remeber directly off the top of my head, but he was pretty close to mine. I will ask my recruiter tomorrow morning what his scores were and post them.

Rangers,

I have been doing 200 push-ups per day, at least one day a week I will do 300. I am also doing various core exercises with the same amount of total reps. I have seen improvement in both my sit-ups and push-ups. I will be doing a PT test on Thursday with my brother. We aren't meeting with our recruiter anymore until the weather gets better. I have also been lifting on top of doing push-ups, pull-ups and sit-ups. A Ranger has given me some advice for push-ups which is a ladder of 10-20-30-40-50-40-30-20-10 with a 30 second plank between sets and never letting your knees touch the ground. I will be giving it a go after work today.

Rangers,

Today I conducted a PT test with my brother, my scores are:

Push-ups: 69
Sit-ups: 63
Pull-ups: 10
2 mile run: 15:02

My Run time needs some work, and I will certainly wear pants next time. I have been working a lot to get my push-ups and sit-ups better lately. I was mostly focusing on my push-ups and sit-ups, but I will now focus on everything more and keep the improvement coming. I want this more than anything else.
