Your APFT scores and improvements of scores show a lot about a persons self motivation. Looking at yours I don't see a lot of motivation. If you want this, you have to go for it with everything you have. Every time you work out you MUST strive to get at least one more rep or one less second than you did last time. Exercise is about progressive overload, always striving to do more the next time. Also, if you want to improve you push-ups, then do more push-ups, etc...Too many people get into a complicated workout program when all they need to do is focus on what they want to improve on. Give everything you've got, ever time you give and never, ever quit! RLTWSully2490 wrote:Rangers my first Ranger PT test scores are as follows:
Push-ups: 42
Sit-ups: 56
5 Mile run: 42:20
Pull-ups: 5
These scores are horrible and I am working to improve them. In one month my recruiter will administer another Ranger PT test, I will post my updated results then.

Check your PM. When is your brother going to check-in?Sully2490 wrote:Rangers, I am proud to let you know that my brother dsully25 and I have obtained our 11x Option 40 contracts. We went to MEPS this Monday and got cleared for everything then went to try and get our contracts. At first they said they only had Human Resource, and Culinary Specialist with Option 40. We would not settle for anything other than 11x Option 40 and our recruiter persuaded them to make a few calls and after a little waiting and fighting for it we finally got them.
