Ranger Buzz, from what I have read it looks like most DEP's have posted a APFT weekly. So if that is correct, I will also conduct and post one weekly .

My PT Scores

2 mile run: 23:02

push ups: 31

Sit ups: 79

pull ups: 0

I'm pretty mad because my scores haven't gone up really at all, even though I have been working crazy hard. I have no excuses.

Welcome to Army Ranger Evan

I'm not Ranger Jim but I can tell you that APFTs should not be done closer together than two weeks. It will make you crazy to do them closer together than that. Also, you do not need to diet....you need to eat a proper diet. You can't build muscle and endurance eating a bunch of rabbit food. Eat balanced meals of proper proportions. At first you may feel as though you're starving to death but you'll get over it.

Good luck on your quest young man.....NEVER QUIT.

PFT

push-ups: 30

Sit-ups: 81

2 Mile: 22:51

pull ups: 0

I feel like a failure. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong.. I'm going to start doing 100 sit-ups in the morning and night.. And 100 push ups everyday... I run/jog two miles every night already... Should I do more?

You need to visit the fitness threads already posted on this site. There are quite a few really good workout schemes that would work for you. You have to want this, going half way won't cut it. Give 110 percent every time you workout. Every time you workout, you should exceed the numbers of your last workout. Keep a log of your workouts, what you did and how many or the time. A log is very important, I can tell you the workout I did 5 years ago and how much I did. Progressive overload is the key to any GOOD training program. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit. You CAN do this! RLTW

Enough of this. Not one more time. You're a failure when you quit, don't quit.

Unless you're one of those gifted few people that is born with talent (physical, intellectual or other) you have to work at something to get better at it. It isn't going to happen overnight. Nothing is easy in the path you are choosing. If it was any mook could do it.

You have to self-motivate, I know it's difficult. You mentioned your weight, put that in a box. Focus on your goals and what you want for your future.

I posted a video in the 'Mosh Pit' called 'Never, ever quit". Watch that video and then post back on here why that is so important to where you are at right now. RLTW
