Re: Introduction- Chase
I saw another DEPr on here with a ship date one day before mine for 11x.
I can't seem to find him now if anyone could point me in the right direction I would like to connect with him prior to shipping. Thank you.

Another of our future soldiers earned an Option 40 in OSUT. This ought to be one of your goals. Never, never quit!

Re: Introduction- Chase
Ranger Jim,
I am approaching my 25m target of high school graduation.
My 50m target being my promotion to E-2.
My current plans to obtain an OP40 are as follows,
When I return to MEPS I am going to ask if any Airborne or OP40 DEP losses occured giving me the chance of gaining the slot.
If I fail there, during basic training after my first PT test, I hope to explain my intentions to my Drill Sgt. and ask him what it would take for me to earn an OP40 from him.
If I am unsuccessful in earning an OP40 from my Drill Sgt. in basic training or my AIT portion of OSUT, and our class gets no visit from a Ranger Recruiter, I am hoping to submit my application directly on the day of my Turning Blue Ceremony.
If I am unsuccessful in these attempts, when I am sent to my unit I hope to communicate with my chain of command and ask what is needed of me for me to earn a spot in Airborne school.
My updated PT score is as follows,
Pushups 72
Situps 70
2 mile 12:37
Pull ups 9
Thank you, Rangers
