The PT test consists of 2 minute events: Push-ups, Sit-ups, and 2 mile run. Answer the rest of my questions. We pay attention to details, and we expect the same from you.

TX20028, pay attention to how you respond and address these Rangers accordingly. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

Communicate using proper spelling, capitalization (can you spot what I'm refering to in your previous posts?) and grammer.

You are striving to be a Military Professional. One of the prime aspects of which is to communicate succinctly, accurately with the widest comprehension possible. You are not the worst we've seen but don't get sloppy.

This is your one time of me being "nice". If you don't start using the search button, google and your brain more I will be "not nice".

OK, now you have established your PT base-line and you have over a year to improve it. Memorize the Ranger Creed and start to live by it. Never, never quit!

Are you doing crunches or full sit ups? The difference is a crunch only activates the abdominal muscles and a sit up uses the abdominal and hip flexor muscles.

A sit up starts with your shoulders and hands (interlaced behind your head) on the ground, continues until the base of your neck is further forward than the base of your spine and ends when your shoulders are resting back on the ground. That equals one repetition of sit up.

The full standards for the PT test can be found online. Search for FM 21-20 or ask an Army recruiter (Not any other service).

No issues. Just wanted to make sure you were getting the proper baseline.
