Introduction

Post by Red »

Greetings Rangers,

My name is Rowan. I am an 18 year old from Vermont, a high school graduate, and have completed a semester of college towards a degree in computer science.

I enlisted in the Army on January 14th, 2016. I have an 11x Contract with option 40 and am currently a Future Soldier. I ship out for OSUT on February 22nd, 2016. I have already found an abundance of informative and motivational content on this site, and look forward to becoming a member of this community as fight on to my first objective: becoming a member of the the 75th Ranger Regiment. I want to be a Ranger for many reasons, all of which stem from a desire to be a better man. Brotherhood has always been an underlying aspect of my performance and achievements, and I can think of no better way to achieve greatness as a brotherhood, than with the Rangers. I love challenges, if I am not constantly being pushed beyond my limits, I get bored. Being put through hell is exciting to me; overcoming my challenges and weaknesses is the greatest form of satisfaction that I know. I want to be a part of a brotherhood of men who are just as motivated as I am, who I can trust with my life, and who are always pushing each other to improve.

Welcome to the site Rowan, you have a very short time left before you leave, so you need to put everything you have into preparing yourself before you leave. Your PT scores are lacking, search the physical fitness threads on this site and find a good program to help you increase your scores. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit! RLTW

Roger Ranger Jim and Ranger rangerjd, I have created a daily PT schedule for every day up until I ship, and will be focusing on my weak areas. I have 19 days left fight on before I am sent to OSUT, 19 days to give it everything I have. I will post an update on my PT scores soon.
