Re: Old School graphics
First time around was the mid-80s, when Silverback was a cherry.
I got my first photocopy of that exact version in the mail - the real mail as delivered to you in a small, white envelope by a uniformed representative of the federal government!
Still funny, still truish.

Just a question, on several threads including this one the attachment is a black box with an X in it and when clicked on it says that it is no longer available.

The image he posted is hosetd by the ArmyRanger.com Gallery. If you're not signed in at the gallery, you'll see a red "x."Buzz wrote:Just a question, on several threads including this one the attachment is a black box with an X in it and when clicked on it says that it is no longer available.

Where did the gallery go? There is a link to the gallery, but I can't find my pictures there. Also there is no way to sign in. There isn't a way to make a folder for your pictures. Totally confused.EarthPig wrote:The image he posted is hosetd by the ArmyRanger.com Gallery. Re: Old School graphics
gallery.armyranger.com is where it might be in some cases, but not this one. The gallery link above is to the work-in-progress board-integrated gallery. This is not the best place to put stuff right now as there is still some tinkering going on to get it "just right".
The picture above is actually an "attachment". As I can still see it, it must still exist on the server. I think Buzz is just clicking the links too hard.

Re: Old School graphics
This is a historical document as far as Barracks art is concerned. This art really interests me as it is the stuff I saw growing up in the Army. My favorite bumper sticker ever was from Ranger Joe's back in the day. It was some tacky color with white letters that said "Rangers are better lovers", It is classic and very basic which is why I thought it was so cool.Lefty wrote:Somewhere in my boxes of junk is a copy I received in the early 70s with captions apropo for SE Asia.Silverback wrote:This has been around for ever
