Columbus, GA? My wife has never been down there and I keep saying I want to take a trip down there someday.

Roger on Columbus. Going to a mentee's (APO) graduation tomorrow. So I am stealing the opportunity to visit the Infantry Museum and etc. I can honestly say that this place has grown exponentially.

My problem is, my daughter in Spokane is expecting a baby this month, so I'm going to visit her and her husband in June, then I'm flying to Colorado in July to visit my daughter and her husband stationed at Ft Carson, then in August I'm flying to Alaska to visit my son and his wife stationed at Ft Wainwright. All my traveling is taken up with visiting kids. They're all grown up and still costing me money.

It sure is nice to be retired. Today I:

Slept till noon.

Did some shooting. Z'd the Aimpoint Pro.

Assembled four new hives for the new bees goin in at the end of the month.

Rescued the dog from the bedroom at 4 (1600). Not sure how that happened. She needs to learn to bark if she want my attention.

Now..... I'm gittin' drunk on the porch.

I should probably get a job soon. Or something.

In Washington State we legalized marijuana and gay marriage at the same time.
In the bible it says,"if a man lays with another man he shall be stoned."
I've been interpreting it wrong all these years.

My favorite drawings at the Muhammad cartoon festival in Texas were the two chalk outlines out front.

If I could change the IRS hold music, it would be "The Waiting" by Tom Petty. Problem is, based on current hold time estimates, I could hear the song 15 times before I finally get a representative.
"My religious convictions teach me to feel as safe in battle as if I were safe asleep in bed. The time of my death is fixed. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready no matter when it may overtake me. That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave." - General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson
